The Dioraphte Foundation’s Social Initiatives section focuses on the Netherlands and Africa.
As far as Africa is concerned Dioraphte is only active in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Malawi.
Our emphasis is on financial support for projects of a social and societal nature. Generally speaking, we support these projects through the gift of money.
Dioraphte aims to support people who live in (relative) poverty and/or isolation. In the Netherlands, our key words are dignity and the ability to do things independently, particularly where elderly and disabled people are concerned.
In addition, we focus on the following things: relief, education, supervision, health care and creating job opportunities for vulnerable people.
Henk J.Th. van Stokkom
Generally, we support projects through monetary donations.
Dioraphte’s Social Initiatives section prefers to focus on projects and activities which are, or could become, of great importance to a large number of people from many social strata. Projects supported by Dioraphte may run for several years.
The Dioraphte Foundation’s Social Initiatives section seeks to support organisations working in the Netherlands, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Malawi, as well as projects and activities undertaken in these countries.
