Dioraphte supports scientific research in the field of neglected tropical diseases and rare diseases. We also strengthen research opportunities within the journalism field.
In the field of neglected tropical diseases and rare diseases, we work exclusively with 'calls for research proposals' that alternate every other year. For investigative journalism, proposals can only be submitted upon request. Click on 'more information' below to read more about our calls and grants.
– 2024 –
The third call for research proposals on rare diseases – CFP-RD2024 – was announced on February 28th 2023. 48 proposals were submitted. On Rare Disease Day February 29th 2024, Dioraphte notified four centres of expertise in the Netherlands that their applications had been accepted. In total, an amount of EUR 1,625,029 has been awarded. A summary of the awards can be found here.
