Timeline for the 2022 call for research proposals on rare diseases – CFP-RD2022:

April 30, 2021 – Closing date for submission of project proposals.

May 15, 2021 – Distribution of projects for the peer review process.

July 1, 2021 – Closure of the peer review process.

September 1, 2021 – Announcement of invitations to submit full project proposals.

November 1, 2021 – Deadline for submission of full project proposals.

February 1, 2022 – Advice to the Board.

February 28, 2022 – Announcement of awards CFP-RD2022.

– 2021 –
Call for research proposals on skin-related neglected tropical diseases
(NTDs) The 2021 call for research proposals on skin-related neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) – CFP-NTD2021 – was closed on the 30th of November 2020. We received 54 stage-1 applications from 27 countries. Six applications have been selected for a stage-2 application:
Scabies – Australia
Leprosy – Indonesia
Buruli ulcer – France
Leishmaniasis (Cutaneous) – Switzerland
Leishmaniasis (Post Kalazar Dermal) – Sweden
Mycetoma – Netherlands

(Please note we will not be able to give feedback on decisions made by the scientific advisory committee and/or the board of Dioraphte.)

– 2020 –
The 2020 call for research proposals on rare diseases – CFP-RD2020closed on August 31st 2019. 72 proposals were submitted.
On Rare Disease Day February 29th 2020, Dioraphte notified five centres of expertise in the Netherlands that their applications had been accepted.
In total, an amount of almost EUR 1,700,000 has been awarded as part of a ‘call for proposals’.

– 2019 –

The 2019 call for research proposals on skin-related neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) – CFP-NTD2019 – was closed on the 31th of October 2019. We received 19 stage-1 applications.
In May 2020, Dioraphte informed two applicants that their application had been granted. The total amount involved was almost 1,700,000 euros.
